I'll overwhelm 'credible combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
